The Consortium SCIRE was founded in 2001 by “Tor Vergata” University of Rome and “Elasis” research center (FIAT group). It is a non-profit organization; any profits are reinvested in research or in the dissemination of their results. SCIRE collaborates with research centers and several companies, encouraging cooperation and technology transfer. The prime mission is to enable, facilitate and promote research in general and innovative and advanced technological CFD analysis in particular. S.C.I.R.E will be a place for people to find knowledge. One of the main aim of SCIRE is to carry out, promote and improve research activities in the principals sectors of numerical techniques for virtual prototyping (CFD, thermal and structural analysis). In order to reach this aim the Consortium promotes interaction between public research and private companies to technology transfer. Other aim is the dissemination of the results of the research carried out by its own scientific network. Moreover the Consortium wants to carry out continuous and recurrent training activity oriented on consortium concerned fields.
